The insertion tube is the long, flexible part of the endoscope that enters the patient’s body. The GIF-XTQ160 is significantly thicker than standard gastroscopes to accommodate its massive instrument channel.

► Features

• Powerful Suction Capability:The massive 6.0mm channel (the largest in its class) allows for unprecedented suction power. This is critical for managing emergency situations, such as clearing large blood clots or food debris that would clog a standard scope.
• Large-Scale Biopsy & Therapy:The insertion tube supports large-diameter endo-therapy accessories. The 6.0 mm channel allows for the use of heavy-duty forceps and the passage of large specimens during therapeutic procedures.
• Auxiliary Water Jet:The insertion tube includes a dedicated auxiliary water channel. This allows the physician to wash away mucus or clots from the mucosal surface at the touch of a button, ensuring a continuously clear view without using the instrument channel.
• 4-Way Angulation:Despite its larger diameter, the bending section at the tip of the insertion tube provides wide-angle movement (up to 200° upward). This allows for comprehensive observation and “retroflexion” (looking back at the entry point) within the stomach.
• Integrated Air/Water Feeding:The distal end features a specialized nozzle that feeds air to expand the digestive tract and water to clean the objective lens, maintaining high image quality throughout the procedure.
