► Brief Description

The insertion tube (also known as the flexible portion) is the key component of the endoscope that is inserted into the patient’s body.

► Features

• Ultrathin Design: The 5.9mm diameter is significantly smaller than standard gastroscopes, facilitating transnasal (through-the-nose) insertion. This is the primary function of the small diameter, greatly improving patient tolerance and reducing the gag reflex.
• Flexibility and Torque Transmission: The flexible section is engineered to effectively transmit rotational (torque), pushing, and pulling movements from the control body to the distal tip, allowing for precise steering within the anatomy.
• Instrument Channel Access: The 2.0mm channel runs through the entire length of the tube, allowing for the delivery and manipulation of instruments (like biopsy forceps or cytology brushes) and providing suction.
• Light and Imaging Components: The tube contains the necessary light guides and wiring to power the CMOS/Super CCD sensor at the distal tip and transmit the high-resolution image data back to the video processor.
• Smart Bending Technology:The bending section at the end of the tube provides an exceptionally large 210° up-angulation, which is crucial for maneuvering into retroflexed positions to thoroughly examine the gastric cardia and fundus.
