► Features

• Electrical Insulation: It acts as a non-conductive barrier, ensuring that the high-frequency current from the cutting loop does not “arc” or leak into the metal sheath, which would otherwise cause accidental burns to the patient’s urethra.
• Thermal Stability: It can withstand the intense heat generated during tissue resection without melting or degrading, maintaining the structural integrity of the sheath tip.
• Mechanical Guidance: The ceramic surface provides a smooth, low-friction track for the electrode (cutting loop) to slide back and forth during the operation.

• Visibility Support: The oblique (slanted) design of the ceramic tip is engineered to maximize the field of view for the surgeon while providing enough coverage to protect the surrounding tissue from the active electrode.
